What is Microblading?

Microblading is a permanent makeup tattoo in the brow that is applied by hand (no machine). Professional pigments are deposited into the very outer layer of the dermis with very small, individual, feathered strokes that perfectly mimic eyebrow hair. The result is a very natural looking, well shaped, fuller brow that you won’t have to fill in with cosmetics everyday.

How long do the results last?

Because of the unique qualities of each individual’s skin and lifestyles, we are unable to guarantee how long your results will last. You will likely need a touchup within 18-24 months.

How long does a microblading session take?

Your initial session takes about 2 hours, including consultation, brow design and numbing. Your 6 week touchup session is included in the price and takes about an hour.

Does microblading hurt?

We take every precaution necessary to ensure the micro-pigmentation application is as pain free as possible.  A wide range of medical grade anaesthetics are used for your comfort.  Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable, whereas other clients report no discomfort at all.  A cocktail of 3 anaesthetics are used, first a topical numbing cream and then a local anaesthetic is introduced once the microblading procedure has started.   This is topped up regularly during the treatment to keep you comfortable.

How long is the recovery or healing time?

You do not have to hide from the world until you are healed.  Many clients can walk right out the door, ready to show off their new brows.  Initially stronger in colour, your new brows will soften to a natural looking and beautiful colour in two to three weeks.

When will I see the final results?

A noticeable difference will be readily apparent immediately following the microblading procedure.  You will see your final results after the healing process is fully completed, usually in 4 weeks.  Your complete results will come after your perfecting 6 week touchup session.

.

How do you choose the shape?

We choose a shape and style together.  At the beginning of the microblading procedure I will take measurements to check symmetry and position and then draw in a suggested shape for your new brows. We then work together to perfect this to your preference.

How do you choose the color?

A color is selected to match your current brow hair. Blondes are a whole different ball game and I specialize in perfect blonde shades.

What will my brows look like immediately after the procedure?

Your brows may be a little swollen, and considerably darker for the first week, before they begin to fade out to a softer colour.

Can I have my brows microbladed if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

No, just enjoy that sweet baby for now.

Can I have microblading done if I have no brow hair at all?

Yes!, PMU is a great option for those who suffer from Alopecia, thyroid imbalances or have been through Chemotherapy. Microblading can even correct past wax catastrophe, over tweezing, or the normal hair thinning that occurs post menopause.
